Frank Gentges - KØBRA - Co-Captain

Frank Gentges - KØBRA and Grant Russell - KB3EMT teamed up to captain for the VHF and UHF stations this year. They had some nice looking gear and antennas but generally had trouble finding new ones.

With N1MM Logging Program

The Rates At The VHF-UHF Station   The VHF-UHF Station saw 8 hours of operation with at least one QSO. They made 7 on 2-Meters, and 8 on 6-Meters, This is well below the Station's 8-year average of 59 QSOs and 16 below the 2008 results. The log shows another 10 QSOs which were dupes. Thanks for the nice effort.

Three operators put many hours on this station. Bill - N4TS had the best results on 2-Meters on Saturday afternoon.

A 8-Year Performance Perspective of the VHF-UHF Station:

The Antennas   A pair of yagi antenna for 70-cm and 2-Meters were mounted on a short 20-foot antenna mast. And, a 6-Meter Dipole was hung off the same mast. Short coax runs were used. Thanks to Frank - KØBRA, Grant - KB3EMT and Dave - KE4S for this effort.

Some times this stuff works and some times it's harder to find a new one. So, you just work them again to see if you are still getting out.
