The Friday Night Setup is one of the greatest shows in town. Everyone who can does shows by 4 PM. The Station Captains have a plan and looks for willing helpers. It's seldom that a group can throw up fourteen band-mode station-antenna setups before sundown. There were many new folks on hand this year and once we knew for sure where we could finally setup, things came together nicely with a lot of good hard work. Some thirty members and friends helped put it all together. A special thanks to A Co, 33rd Battalion, Black Horse Brigade, Virginia Defense Force for the great GP-medium tent and to the Loudoun County Chapter of the American Red Cross for use of the new mobile operational unit. These assets saved us when the original site use plan got changed. There were many shutter bugs. Take look at all this nice work. |
