The Friday Night Setup Everyone makes this event. We had plenty of help and a few "peanut galleries." As station captains rolled in, folks gathered to assist and/or watch the operation. There's always something new to see, to learn about and wonder whether it will work, wonder whether it will go up, or wonder whether I should try that at home. It was well after sundown before everything was up in the air. Of course, we had to take a break for Mary and Charlie Preston - K4LJH's evening meal. Thanks. And, of course, there were parts forgotten, tools forgotten or lost, and there was always someone with stuff that was needed. By 2100 hours local most had departed and we all wondered whether our antennas and rigs would better last year's performance. We'll know by mid-afternoon on Saturday.
