In a post exercise message, Don and Tina say, "We would like thank all who helped with the installation and operation of Station #4. An extra big thank you goes to Karl - KI4BDS and Kurt - KI4FWB 'FOR STICKING IT OUT ALL NIGHT.' Thanks also goes to Randy - W4XJ and Larry - K3HE for the evening crew and to Dave - KE4S for the morning shift. Also, our thanks goes to Chester - WA9LAZ for helping out. Finally, thanks to LARG for providing most of the items needed to get on the air. And, without a doubt, the food was superb; many thanks to the food crew. 73 Don & Tina Jones." This station operated on 20-Meters Fone. It seemed 'loud' at sunrise and sunset with three 40+ QSOs hourly rates. This is the first year that we put a yagi antenna on the band-mode. The
numbers are better then previous operations: 413 QSOs for 413 contact
points. This is a nice job by all on a very busy band. |
