Waterford Red Cross Rest Station

Mark Johnson - W3ZI of Ashburn was Station Captain for the Waterford communications. He was aided by Grant Russell - KB3EMT of Round Hill and Charles Graham - KI4IEO of Leesburg. They had a nice setup in the parking lot in front of the Waterford Elementary School right next to the Red Cross Assistance Site.  From here, you could hear all operations throughout the county.

Waterford is one of the 'last' western sites to open and the 'last' western site to close. So, it is with anticipation when the last riders arrive.
