Chris Fristad - KT9N    Gary Quinn - NC4S    Rick Denney - KR9D   "Z" Tyrlik - KU1T     Bill Buchholz - K8SYH

It was O-Dark-Thirty when we formed up. We had a big 12-unit convoy out of the old IGA parking lot in eastern Purcellville at 0525 hours. Everyone had rolled in a little early and we talked a while before mounting up. Gary Quinn - NC4S was point with the LARG stuff on his old trailer.  We closed on the gate in western Berryville by 0555 hours. They took all our money and we settled in under the big trees in the eastern section. It wasn't long before the early bird were on us looking for some great deals. Some stuff went pretty fast.

There were many - like 30-plus - Loudoun ARG current and past members who stopped by to say hello and chat. It was nice to see some old friends. My old buddy, Bill Mills - KC4AA de Milledgeville, GA didn't make it this year but I keep getting all his eMails. So, I know he's kickin'.

Deals were easier this year. Maybe we had some good stuff. Gary Quinn emptied out the trailer early. Not much stuff came home. We would even offer to deliver at no charge. That really worked. Maybe it was the weather; it was really nice. Some guys picked up a few things before we broke camp. Some stuck it out until the 1300 hour final drawings and but most closed station - march ordered by noon. We had a good haul. We were home on Canby by 1300 hours. It was nice riding with you all. Best Regards, Norm Styer - AI2C de Clarkes Gap, Virginia.
