The Super VHF - UHF Station By Allon -KE4FYL & Tom - WB9RXY

        Allon Stern - KF4FYL of Purcellville and Tom Carney - WB9RXJ of Stumptown, VA. assembled this fine station on Friday night. A lot of fellows pitched to get this hardware up in the air. Their station consisted of a 100-Watt Icom 706 Transceiver into 6-Meters Cushcraft 3 element yagi, a Yaesu FT-290 Transceiver with a Mirage 30W Amplifier into a 2-Meters Cushcraft 14 element yagi, and a Yaesu FT-790 with a 70cm Hy-Gain 11 element yagi.
       The station made over 60 QSOs. Details to follow. There were many operators who tried their hand here including: Allon Stern - KF4FYL, Tom Carney - WB9RXJ, Bruce Lunde - KF4KKZ, Tom Garasic - NA4MA, Paul Dluehosh - N4PD, Dave Mullins - K4ARP, and Bob Myers - N2KVV.
