MEETING LOCATION The March 15, 2003, LARG meeting will be at 8:30 in the Leesburg Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 605 West Market Street. The church is located at the intersection of Market Street and Catoctin Circle on the west side of town. It is just east of the bypass. From the Bypass, take the Leesburg exit at the west end of town and the church is on the right just past the stoplight. Please enter through the door on the east side of the building where you will see both steps and a ramp by the door.

March Club Meeting Plans - Our March meeting will occur just hours before the start of the 2003 Virginia QSO Party. Many of our members who plan to operate mobile or in portable or expedition mode will be travelling to other parts of the state and will not be attending the meeting. We will have a brief discussion of any last minute VAQP matters as well as our normal committee reports and then adjourn to prepare for the weekend's operating event. Gary, NC4S , will be operating as a multi/single station this year in the VAQP, and he is looking for operators to fill in time slots (sort of like signing up for Field Day time slots). Contact him if you would like to operate for a few hours from his station. If you spend some time at a multi station, it doesn't prevent you from spending the rest of you operating time from your own station, either fixed or mobile, and turning in a log for that effort. If you are unable to make the March meeting and still are operating in the VAQP, keep a watch on the LARG reflector and web pages; we will probably be publishing itineraries for some of the portable operators and other information important to the club.
