The meeting was called to order by President Henry Weidman, K2BFY, at 8:34 am, Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Leesburg Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 605 West Market Street, Leesburg, VA. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag to the United States Of America was recited.

TRAINING:
Henry Weidman, K2BFY announced the "Technician" class coming up on May 17,18 and 19.
- Need instructors to help teach the class; sign up sheet was passed around to everyone.

2013 FIELD DAY:
Chris Patton, W3CUM and DAVID WENDLAND, KE4OKY had a field day update; we are 63 days out!
- Big Board is available to sign up to operate.
- We need all new operators to attend June 15 meeting.
- Planning sign up for assembly and tear down.
- Plan to do some setting up on Thursday night.
- Sunday afternoon support is critical; plan to attend.

Next Saturday is Morse Day, as in Samuel. Virginia railroad post office - train station in Boyce, Virginia, is hosting the special event.

A reminder to all about Holy Trinity's inclement weather policy: if Loudoun County Schools are closed (or would be if it were a school day), all activities at the church are cancelled - this includes outside groups. This policy allows for parking lot clearing so snow is not packed down; and it is also a safety issue.
