John Unger - W4AU of Hamilton, VA. was the Captain of Station #3 that operated full period on 40 Meters CW. The station was John's Ten-Tec Omni VI HF Transceiver, and his IBM Notebook Computer with TR Logging Program. The antenna was John's 40-Meter Delta Loop on his 35-foot telescoping pole.
Again, this station had some great CW operators including John Unger - W4AU, Gary Quinn - NC4S, Mark Johnson - W3ZI, Paul Dluehosh - N4PD, and Tom Garasic - NA4MA. We really missed Bill Buchholz - K8SYH of Hurt, VA. who has usually manned this station during the early hours on Sunday. We were counting on Mike Lonneke - W0YR to help but he had an emergency; we missed Mike, too. Over 800 QSOs were made. Details to follow.
